In the 10 years of LMG, Linus basically never referred to himself as the CEO of the company. Just when he steps down, a video releases where he does, and it needs to be clarified. Impeccable timing.

    Captain Cosmos

He’s not stepping down yet. That’s july 1st I believe

    Tiny Star

Gotta remember it takes ages to edit videos too. This could have been recorded 2 months ago before he decided to step down. Most youtubers try to at least stay 2 weeks ahead of schedule in videos in case situations happen like being sick where they can’t produce anything

    Saul Goodman

How long will people harp on about this?

    Superslash

This is the law, are we not men?

AntVenom

Literally nobody can come @ me anymore for having too expensive of a setup for Minecraft. I’m jealous Karl!

    Leocowdangal

    Antvenom!

    LightCrowd4204O

    Lmao

    Ethan Hessong

I would be too with billet aluminum Mr. Ant.

    Vince Canada

    @AntVenom too expensive…

    noobdrone

yo antvenom, cool to see you here XD

Nicholas Lopes

It’s nice to know for a measly $5,000 you can have the same performance 😅

    F?СК МЕ. ТАР 0N MY Р1С

    aaw!!

    Bewix

WELL without the performance of the speakers or monitors, which IMO are kind of necessary to fully experience a $5000 rig

    Warren Skeen

Maybe 10k with screens and speakers

    MolecularWizard

@Bewix yeah if you’re gonna go all out like that on the pc you can’t skimp on accessories or you’re leaving performance/enjoyment on the table

    FROG2000

@Warren Skeen I bet you 5k I can have the exact same or better performance for 5k. ebay, craigslist ect

Aceghost

Me who has been milling things for like 4 years (all be it on a 3 axis mill) can not come close to explaining how much I respect the level of craftsmanship of the desk.

    Arania TwoFer

yeah, me too. my apprenticeship as a tool mechanic is coming to an end in about a month and I have to say – 5 axis machining always looks super impressive 🙂

it is in the eye of the beholder if you are satisfied with the surface finish of an end mill, though. I would have loved to see the milled surfaces polished for that extra bling

    Tim Holowachuk

@Arania TwoFer Totally. I went back and forth on surface finish and made the call this way for the way it reflects and scatters light into the glass. There’s no right answer since it’s not a structural decision, but I’m pretty pumped with how it turned out.

    Aceghost

@Tim Holowachuk personally digg the surface finish tool marks. Something’s I like a surface grinder or those electrolysis finishes but tool marks gotta lot of charm to them.

If i was the end customer I’d be super pleased with this finish in this application

    Beast 667

    @Tim Holowachuk amazing job!

FlexiSpot

We just want to remind you to check the instructions next time LOL. If you have super heavy objects OVER 355lbs, consider getting yourself an E7Q😉

    Wayhoo

I love when you said “it’s flexi time” and flexied all over the place. Truly Iconic.

    Le Docteur Gonzo

    funny !

    Mr K

they said that it was too late to change them out by the time they came out

    Nchls

18:14 imagine skipping your own sponsor messages💀

    Verchiel

Instructions? In this household? We don’t do that here

Harbir Singh

That third equalizer loop itself needs a video of its own! I’ve never heard of something like that before.

    Roberto Souza

    Totally!

    Right Wing Safety Squad

That’s because it’s kinda dumb. If they weren’t trying to spend more money it would make more sense to just use 1 bigger loop rather than 3.

    My Account __

@Right Wing Safety Squad agreed. The way water works there is no need to separate them

    Gurvinder Parmar

@Right Wing Safety SquadThe water cooling here was made to just add cost… they’re not getting any better temps than an 011 XL custom loop with three 360mm rads..mine has two loops with 7950x and 4090…I doubt it’s getting any better performance..and they didn’t even put 128gb of memory or 8tb nvme drives.

    Soulshot96

@Gurvinder Parmar Not only that, but they didn’t even give that 13900KS the speed of memory it deserves. Mine runs happily with 6400Mhz C32 DDR5, and the ONLY reason I didn’t go faster is because I picked this kit up last year, when it was towards the top of the pile and almost twice as much as it is now.

The performance and config of these parts is borderline shameful.

Idle

It is crazy how this one video is the beginning of hours and hours of content all about this table on multiple channels over multiple months. And I’m gonna watch all of it.

    Harvey –

Curious where you got that info from? WAN show?

    Zyt L

@Harvey – It was kind of mentioned in the video.

    Idle

@Harvey – I took two from over here, and grabbed another two from over there and, you know, put them together 🤙🤙

    NightRogue

Everything gotta be a gd cinematic universe now 🙄

Storm WarningMom

Amazing. I’m wondering if your team installed it for him or just shipped the parts to him and left him to put it together.

Phosakeen

For the audio interface, I’m surprise that he chooses RME. I mean, they just want to get the sound out, so A/D convertor is not that important as this setup doesn’t use for sound work. But yeah, WHY NOT!

    Eduardo Walcacer

Well, it’s not purely an A/D converter. It has a preamp for inputs and outputs, as well as an amplification section for the headphone. I would personally go with a high end DAC and an AMP separately, which could cost even more than the whole budget. I also believe that the HD800 deserves an audiophile grade DAC/AMP stack and the interface would’ve been used for the mic only.

Quang Huy Vũ

Linus went from building a $500 PC a week ago to a $100K PC

    Will Carter

And I love it! LTT has range. They have something for everyone.

    DudeSicko

No he did not, he were building the 100k one way before the 500 one

    noeldc

Wrong. He built a $95,000 table.

Lighty_Dust

An absolute work of art! Thank you, this was amazing.

Jody Mitoma (Uber Eats Ride-Alongs)

It’s beautiful!! Amazing work by everyone involved!

Dorky

This setup itself needs the proper showdown like a photoshoot or booklet for its magnificent work of art

ServisSop151

Imagine in like 5 years when the time comes to upgrade the mb, cpu and gpu on this thing, what a time Karl is gonna have

StxrLord

this really takes me back to the classic over the top builds that ltt used to do. more please!

Alex Wright

If there’s any additional content about this desk on floatplane, you earned yourself a subscriber. This is why LTT is the best in the business. The B roll literally made my jaw drop.

Just picked up some Jyg240E during Amazon’s presale, can’t wait to see how it performs. I have a feeling this is going to be big.

Ahmet Yeter

I’ve been using Jyg240E for a while now and it’s been performing really well. I’m glad to see that it’s getting more attention, especially with Amazon’s presale.

BAŞKAN

I’ve been keeping an eye on Jyg240E for a while now, and I have to say I’m impressed. And with Amazon’s presale, it’s definitely worth considering for your portfolio.
